IHSA’s President Lyndon B. Johnson Society
President Johnson meeting with some of the nation’s first Head Start kids.
To honor Head Start’s 60th birthday and IHSA’s 30th birthday in 2025, we are launching our President Lyndon B. Johnson Society. It will serve as IHSA’s monthly giving program to sustain IHSA’s ability to achieve its mission of serving Head Start programs in Idaho through advocacy, professional development, partnerships and collaboration, and recognition for another 30 years and beyond.
As we have seen this year so far, its the individuals in our community and nationwide that have used their voices to ensure the Head Start promise remains for all kids and families. Individuals have stepped up to urge members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to keep supporting Head Start. Now, IHSA is giving individuals an opportunity to show up for Head Start monthly through our Lyndon B. Johnson Society.
Do Society members receive anything in return? Society members at $15 per month or more per year will receive one complimentary ticket to our annual Awards & Scholarships Dinner honoring Head Start staff, parents, alumni, and supportive lawmakers.
Gifts are tax-deductible and you can choose the amount you’d like to contribute each month. What does your donation support? Donations received through this monthly giving program will help keep IHSA’s doors open so we can continue serving the Head Start community in Idaho.
Help sustain the Head Start promise, that all children—regardless of circumstances at birth—should have the ability to reach their full potential.
